Sister Penny Dunn

St. Joseph Health named Sister Penny Dunn Vice President, Mission Integration in 2011.

Sister Penny is responsible for strengthening our legacy, Mission, values and Catholic identity throughout the health care system and in partnership with the wider community. She also continues to develop the understanding and implications of the Ethical and Religious Directives of Catholic Health Care Services, which promote and protect the truths of the Catholic faith as those truths are brought to bear on concrete issues in health care.

Prior to working in health care, Sister Penny was a Director of Faith Formation for 26 years in Catholic parishes in Ohio, Texas and her home state of Minnesota.

Sister Penny is the only child of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Dunn. She entered the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio in 1982.
