St. Joseph Health Cancels Gran Fondo Fundraiser
Bryan, Texas, January 26, 2021 – In the interest of public health, the 6th Annual Gran Fondo, scheduled for Sunday, April 25, 2021, has been cancelled. As a community, we continue to deal with a high number of COVID-19 cases and need to remain focused on meeting the health and safety needs of our community. St. Joseph Health believes that cancelling this year’s event is the best course of action given the current circumstances.
While we are cancelling the event for a second year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have no intention of discontinuing the event and pray that 2022 will bring a safer and healthier environment to everyone.
We are grateful for the riders, sponsors and volunteers for their generous contributions to and support of this annual event. Those already registered for the event this year or who deferred last year’s regstiration to 2021 will be contacted directly. We look forward to the 7th Annual Gran Fondo Ride in 2022 to continue to celebrate cancer survivorship in the Brazos Valley. We will provide additional information as it becomes available. For more information, visit GranFondoBCS.com.
We encourage everyone to continue to wear masks, social distance and get the vaccine when it is available, so that we can put an end to this pandemic.
