How to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 in Daycare

Posted in: English , Infographics

Because the situation surrounding COVID-19 is constantly evolving, some information may not be up to date. Stay informed by following information from your local officials and by visiting the CDC website.

As more businesses and offices open back up around Texas, parents with young children may be concerned about whether it’s safe to bring their kids to daycare. While nothing is completely risk-free, childcare facilities around the state are adopting new protocols and undergoing additional training to help keep your children safe. If you plan on bringing your little ones to daycare, follow this checklist to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

As you and your family begin to resume some of your normal day-to-day activities, be mindful of your health. Monitor for changes and call your CHI St Joseph and Texas A&M Health Network primary care physician or pediatrician at the first sign of the virus caused by COVID-19, whether it’s a high fever, shortness of breath, or a dry cough.
