St. Joseph Physicians Recognized by Super Doctors of Texas

Congratulations to Bryan D. Parrent, M.D., general surgeon with St. Joseph Brazos Surgical Group, for being recognized as a 2015 Super Doctor. Jason M. Super Doctors is a collection of outstanding physicians in Texas from more than 40 medical specialties who have achieved a high degree of recognition or professional achievement from their peers.

A rigorous, multi-step process is designed to help identify physicians meet this criteria. Physicians are invited to nominate colleagues they know to be exceptional in their field of medicine. Research of medical databases, online sources and publications are done on physicians who have attained certain credentials, honors or professional achievements. Additionally, candidates are evaluated on ten indicators including years of experience, hospital appointments, fellowships, leadership positions, honors and awards to name a few.
