St. Joseph Health heart surgeons are part of a highly skilled and experienced cardiac team. Our expert heart care staff also includes nurses, nurse practitioners, nutrition specialists (dietitians), physical therapists, social workers, and others trained in heart disease treatment.

The compassion of our cardiac team is a critical part of our ability to provide absolutely exceptional care for our patients. From initial diagnosis to treatments that may include surgery, our heart specialists work together to provide a team approach to coordinate your care and keep you in control.

With 16 full-service operating rooms in our surgery center, a 22-bed ambulatory surgery unit for outpatient procedures and operating rooms available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to support our emergency department—the region's only Level II Trauma Center, you won’t find another hospital that is equipped quite like St. Joseph Health.
