St. Joseph Health’s Grimes Hospital Healthcare Council exists as a self-imposed system for holding ourselves accountable to our patients, staff and community while continually improving the way we serve.

The Council meets regularly to share ideas, provide feedback and help us deliver the highest quality care. Many of their suggestions directly shape how we operate and serve the community.

We offer a wide range of volunteer roles in about 90 different departments. You can help in both clinical and non-clinical areas, depending on your interests and skills. Volunteer shifts are available during the week and on weekends—mornings, afternoons, evenings and even overnight.
