Our cardiac rehab team includes doctors, nurses, counselors, social workers, exercise physiologists and other specialists who provide treatment and instruction on how to alter your lifestyle and lower your risk factors after a heart event.
Having a personalized cardiac rehab plan from St. Joseph Health Cardiac Rehab is especially helpful for patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass, valve surgeries, heart catheterization, balloon angioplasty or who have had a heart attack, congestive heart failure, or peripheral vascular disease.
The Heart and Vascular program provides the following services:
- Monitored inpatient activity including exercise prescriptions
- Risk Factor modification and counseling
- Assistance with referring discharged patients to nearby outpatient programs
