Our EMS team protocols are in line with our Level II Trauma Center in delivery of acute patient care for best outcomes. Our team uses best practices and remains up-to-date on the latest in acute care delivery through our medical director.
Trained by the Best
Our ambulance and AirMed12 teams include paramedics, EMTs, flight medics, and credentialed paramedic shift supervisors, specially trained to intervene medically both in the field and throughout transport.
In addition to earning external certification, our EMS team members receive dedicated academy training in St. Joseph Health Emergency Centers to master our life-saving interventions. This additional training supports ambulance and air medical teams in delivering a consistently high standard of care across the seven counties we serve. It also creates a seamless transition of care for our patients, from the time our EMS teams arrive to our St. Joseph Health Emergency Centers and into other areas of our hospital.
